Thrive Themes makes premium themes for WordPress. WordPress is simply the platform (code) that your website is built on, and a WordPress Theme is what controls the way your website looks. Once you install the barebones WordPress platform on your site, one of the first things that you want to do is find a theme that looks good and suits the needs of what you are building your site for (personal blog, travel blog, food blog, family blog, business, e-commerce or online store, etc…)
Once you’ve selected an appropriate theme, you can then further customize the look, layout, fonts, colors, and more. And with themes like Thrive, this is all done using a visual editor, meaning everything is controlled with a dashboard and you don’t need to know any code. It’s all visual, drag and drop, and controlled with menus and options (which makes life much easier than it was several years ago.) But selecting the right kind of theme as a starting point for your site is crucial.

They have a ton of beautiful themes that you can browse and buy individually. All of their themes look great, and you can look for one that has a default look that really like. And from there, you can customize it as well. The store has a ton of information about each theme, and you can see full demos as well. You can really get a feel for the theme quickly, and if it seems like a great starting point for you.
If you are just setting up one website, I highly recommend this option. Find a theme that you like, buy it, install it, customize it, and start doing your thing! Make your life VERY easy by going this route.
Thrive Memebership
The membership option is absolutely fantastic if you are doing anything more than one website. Whether you are going to be running a few websites for yourself, or you are going to start building a few sites for clients and start building a business (or just doing it on the side), or you are an agency, or whatever other reason, the membership is a fantastic option.
It is a MUCH more economical way to use multiple themes for multiple websites. You simply pay an annual fee (which is only the price of a couple of themes), and you can use all of the themes on multiple websites. Whether you try something and decide to change it later, or are setting up new websites throughout the year, you have unlimited access to all of Thrive’s available themes with the membership.
Thrive Architect
This is Thrive’s ultimate website builder. If you are familiar with Elegant Themes Divi Page Builder, or Elementor Page Builder, this is Thrive’s full fledged page builder.
If you aren’t familiar with them, I’ll describe it quickly. These page builder tools give you a canvas that overrides the WordPress theme setting, and let’s you build completely custom pages. You can create a beautiful homepage for your site or landing page for your product, create a fully custom page template, post template, blog page template, and more. You can also create unique pages for things like About Us, Contact Us, etc…
This page builder (as well as the others mentioned) are used by agencies to create very professional sites for businesses. They are that good. And if you really want to build a nice, custom website, they are great tools that allow you to do a lot still without having to know code. You can put in more time building what you want, an you can get a really beautiful, custom site from them.
